Volunteer grants allow companies to recognize employee volunteer efforts with cash.  Also known as Dollars for Doers, volunteer grants are the most frequently offered volunteer incentive, and program managers surveyed by the Committee to encourage Corporate Philanthropy have reported it to be their most successful program.

Volunteer grants reward employees for repeat volunteering, which can lead to greater employee engagement with nonprofit organizations.  This program also motivates employees to log their hours, if an automated hour logging system is not already in place.
